JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Information Systems Analyst
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being

The Information Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the management, operations, and
interoperability of the District’s information systems.
The Information Systems Analyst position requires analytical thinking and a data-oriented mindset.
The person who fills this position must be intrinsically motivated, highly organized, detail
oriented, able to work independently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
▪ Database management and query technologies.
▪ Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
▪ Reporting tools, such as Cognos or Power BI, and techniques.
▪ Data warehouse and business intelligence technologies.
▪ Software installation and updates.
▪ Technological developments and trends.
Ability to:
▪ Efficiently and effectively query and manage relational database objects.
▪ Design and develop custom reports and data models.
▪ Learn technologies and practices to complete essential duties.
▪ Maintain the confidentiality of District information.
▪ Manage multiple, high priority, tasks.
▪ Facilitate systems interoperability and the automation of tasks.
▪ Problem solve and resolve data or software related issues.
▪ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and
vendors.
▪ Communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
▪ Describe technical issues to users at multiple ability levels.
▪ Install, maintain, and document software as required.
Training and Experience:
▪ Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
is preferred.
▪ Working knowledge of and experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
(SSMS).
▪ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in all areas of software and database
technologies.
▪ Experience supporting K-12 ERP systems (e.g., Student, Business/HR, etc.) is
preferred.
▪ Database administration and management is preferred.
▪ Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerBI, or similar analytics reporting experience is a
plus.
▪ Technical experience in the field of information system management, database administration, or
related.
▪ Technical education or certification with a focus on information systems preferred.
DUTIES
- Support the reliable and secure operation and use of the District’s information
systems.
- Protect and maintain the confidentiality of District data.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other relevant visuals to support district
operations and planning.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of data integrations supporting system
interoperability.

- Maintain documentation of the District’s information systems, reports, integrations, and other
relevant configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve information system-related issues.
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes to optimize District systems and technical
operations.
- Monitor and maintain information systems and database operations, maintenance, and
performance.
- Provide training to staff and other stakeholders on software, reporting, or other system
functionality.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide support, onboard or upgrade
systems, or deliver a capability as required.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory reporting as required.
- Maintains a broad knowledge of database and reporting technology, practices, and/or
systems.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full-Time 12-Month salary position
- Assigned locations: District-wide
- Reports to: Director of Technology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
