Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aquatic programs and management, with a passion for promoting water safety and providing exceptional customer service. The Aquatics Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities, including pool maintenance, programming, and staff management.
Duties
Develop and implement aquatic staff schedule.
- Manage and supervise lifeguards, instructors, and other aquatic staff, ensuring a high level of safety and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and conduct regular pool maintenance and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Collaborate with other departments to integrate aquatic programs with overall facility operations and customer services.
- Ensure that all staff are certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Monitor and report on chemicals, aquatic program participation, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification and experience working in aquatic environments.
- Experience managing aquatic programs and staff, including supervising lifeguards and instructors.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety procedures.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff and members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and first aid is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
