## Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and helping them navigate through academic, social, and emotional challenges. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to their overall well-being. ## Duties - Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students - Assist students in developing academic and career goals - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success - Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and concerns - Implement programs to address issues such as bullying, substance abuse, and mental health - Educate students on topics related to personal development and well-being ## Skills - Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings - Knowledge of theater, daycare, or sports coaching is a plus - Strong classroom management skills - Background in early childhood education or babysitting preferred - Familiarity with first aid procedures - Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
