Job Description:
The ideal candidate would be familiar with and have a genuine love for animals and the veterinary industry, conduct oneself in a professional and responsible manner, have basic computer skills (experience with Cornerstone software is a plus), be well organized, have strong attention to detail, have the ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously. Candidates should have the ability to handle stress well while keeping a positive and respectful attitude toward clients and other employees. This position requires answering questions regarding hospital & boarding policies, basic animal care/vaccine protocols/heartworm & external prevention questions, options/cost of routine procedures and various products, scheduling appointments via email/phone. Maintaining the front office and clinic appearance through cleaning and organization. Accurately relaying of messages and questions as well as maintaining an alphabetical filing system. Greeting clients, maintaining detailed medical records manually as well as in our computer system, assist with filling prescriptions, and communicate frequently with other team members. Processing payments, reconcile daily transactions, and various other administrative tasks vital for the consistent and seamless workflow of the practice.
The candidate needs to be passionate about and dedicated to building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. Being a team player with positive energy who likes to have fun and loves both animals AND humans is a must.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
