As culinary trends evolve and customer expectations rise, the demand to maintain a gastronomic experience is the need at Diciannove Dieci (1910), Geneva on the lake, Geneva New York
Lead Chef or also known as Chef de Cuisine is responsible for organizing and overseeing the work of the kitchen staff, ensuring meals are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepping ingredients and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications
- Kitchens organization: ensuring all food items are properly stored, implementing and overseeing cleanliness and sanitation protocols
- Supervising and training kitchen staff on protocol and procedures
- Creating daily specials and assisting in developing new/special menu items
- Maintaining kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as necessary
- Coordinating the cooking and preparation of food items in a timely manner
- Ensuring food quality by tasting and adjusting the flavor, as well as monitoring creative food presentation and service
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Communicating effectively with management staff to resolve any issues or dissatisfaction
- Any other duties entrusted and requested by the management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.41 - $23.84 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
