Job Summary: The General Foreman is primarily responsible keep projects running smoothly, on time, and within budget and act as a liaison between the company, sub-contractors, the crews, and the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
- Order parts, schedule deliveries, and survey job needs.
- Run for parts as needed.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Assist with public relations within the community.
- Assist with mechanical duties (pumps, jumping jacks, plate compactors, and generators) when needed.
- Review, understand, and adhere to all union contracts.
- Maintain insurable driving record.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Construction field experience as an equipment operator and/or crew foreman.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Sitting: 5% of the time.
- Standing: 95% of the time.
- Driving: 5% of the time.
- Weight lifted: Up to 100 pounds.
- Physical Movement: Must have full range of body movements including pulling, pushing, reaching, grasping, twisting, balance, kneeling/squatting, stooping, climbing, and ability to bend.
- Speaking / Listening: Needs to be able to communicate effectively with teams, supervision, drivers, and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
- Working Conditions: Will primarily be working outdoors in all weather conditions. May be exposed to high levels of noise, grease, and dust associated with construction projects. May be exposed to work near moving equipment.

- Ability to multitask

- Knowledge of all equipment used for job and how to use it
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings and blueprints
- Class A CDL is preferred
