Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant
Location: Schaumburg, IL
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Revenue Accountant with expertise in ASC 606 for SaaS revenue recognition. This role offers the opportunity to own the monthly revenue close, lead contract reviews, and serve as the key point of contact for financial audits. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end financial close, including accruals and expense reporting.
- Prepare reports to ensure accurate financials and assist with exception reporting.
- Maintain internal controls, review account reconciliations, and support audits.
- Continuously optimize workflows and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with ASC 606 for software and SaaS revenue recognition.
- 2- 5 years accounting experience – prefer out of public accounting or Fortune 200 company.
- CPA or CPA parts passed
- Experience with NetSuite, and Advanced Revenue Model (ARM)
- Proficient in Excel.
