Position Overview:
The VP of Accounting Advisory and Outsourcing will lead and expand our advisory and outsourcing services while acting as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders. This individual will oversee a team of professionals, manage complex projects, and champion process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in client management, team leadership, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare accounting reports tailored to client needs, addressing complex and technical accounting matters.
- Participate in and lead ad hoc projects to address clients' unique challenges and needs.
- Oversee all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Resolve complex accounting issues, such as technical compliance and financial reporting concerns.
- Guide clients in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to standards.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends, applying expertise to enhance client outcomes and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Proven expertise in technical accounting, financial reporting, and operational process improvements.
- Exceptional client-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
