Seeking a Web Developer to work 1 to 3 days in office in Schaumburg, IL for a company in the software industry. This is a small yet growing company that offers excellent benefits, good work life balance, and flexibility. IIS and Java experience required. Will not sponsor or transfer visa unfortunately.
Understand the requirement, clarifications or issues from the functional expert (finance domain) to develop the application. Clarify the requirements & create development plan/schedule. Provide technical project development approach wherever required. Create Unit Test cases & execute the unit test cases as per the assignment to ensure that the requirements are covered. Ensure assignment completion as per the plan. Report the development periodically as per the frequency set. Ability and willingness to work on the new technologies and old technologies.
About the Role
Dot Net, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, 3 tier architecture, jQuery, JSON, Ajax, APIs. IIS(Must), Azure (Desired). SQL Server - Tables, Queries, indexes, views, functions, stored procedures, error handling, security, triggers etc. Knowledge of Statistics & Math. Good written and oral communication. Flow charts, sequence diagrams, database designs. Experience on Finance based applications (desired). Experience of Telerik Report Development (desired). Add in Entity Framework core (desired). Some of the applications we internally worked on utilizes Entity Framework Core. It’s more of a modern version of Entity Framework. Development in WPF and Winforms (desired). If we need to run any older apps or add additional features/bug fixes onto VDM. Familiarity with Azure DevOps (desired). Some of our projects are on a Azure DevOps server such as VDM, Compute, and other internal apps. To add-on, this is also useful for tracking development changes, as well as tracking additional bugfixes or requests needed for any of our applications.
