1. Catering Bar Manager

Job Summary:
The Catering Bar Manager oversees all aspects of bar operations for catered events, ensuring efficient service, inventory control, staff supervision, and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, set up, and manage bar operations for events, including equipment, staff, and supplies.
  • Supervise and schedule bar staff including bartenders and bar captains.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
  • Coordinate with event planners, chefs, and catering managers to align bar service with event themes.
  • Train bar staff on drink recipes, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bar management or hospitality leadership.
  • Knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and bar operations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

2. Bar Captain

Job Summary:
The Bar Captain supervises bartenders and ensures smooth bar service during events. Acts as the point of contact between bartenders and management, ensuring that service standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bartenders and coordinate shift activities during events.
  • Set up the bar according to event specifications and client expectations.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels throughout the event.
  • Provide training and support to bartenders on proper service and safety.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor service issues.
  • Monitor staff adherence to service protocols and responsible alcohol service.
  • Assist with inventory control and reporting post-event.
  • Report to the Catering Bar Manager on performance and event feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a senior bartender or in a supervisory bar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.

3. Bartender (Catering/Event Setting)

Job Summary:
Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a professional, friendly, and timely manner during catered events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down portable bar stations.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to event menu and client preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume or event setting.
  • Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift bar equipment or supplies.
  • Responsible beverage service certification (TIPS or equivalent) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

  • 10 hour shift

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
