What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Developer position at Genex Systems?
Genex is looking for a senior software developer to support the Marshall Operations Systems, Services, and Integration (MOSSI II) contract. MOSSI II provides support for the International Space Station (ISS), Space Launch System (SLS) and other programs' ground systems and operation services within the Human Exploration Development and Operations (HEDO) office located at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
The Senior Software Developer will work with the database and commanding development team to support the Payload Operations Integration Center (POIC), the ISS mission ground systems hosted in the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC).
Qualifications:
- Experience in programming languages like Angular, C#, C/C , and JavaScript. C is a big one, a lot of the code is written in C.
- Experience with .NER Core
- Experience with Git (lab)
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux and web-based development environments
- Understanding of relational databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL server
- Experience with large distributed systems
- Network programming
- Experience with unit testing
- Ability to capture/present technical information
- Anything that has to do with automated testing would be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or computer science from ABET institution
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
