The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our best-in-class sales force as a National Account Manager. In this role, you will work with assigned accounts to grow and add new accounts to increase sales in progressive multi-site dairies. You will also coordinate with local employees a strategic plan on maximizing the GENEX growth opportunities with these accounts. The successful candidate will provide genetic, reproduction and breeding program guidance to members/customers.
This position will have frequent travel to Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Major Areas of Accountability
- Develop and maintain sales with national accounts as assigned.
- Deliver reproduction and genetic value-added programs to strategic accounts to assist owners and managers make profitable decisions
- Work with sales leadership to ensure herd assignments provide the best use of resources to achieve customer and sales goals.
- Develop account plan for each assigned account and communicate plan to GENEX stakeholders involved with the account.
- Coordinate with team to develop and deliver necessary information to accounts.
- Develop network and relationships with industry professionals to strengthen GENEX in the marketplace.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred (focus in Animal Science, Dairy Science or Agricultural Science is desirable)
- 7 years of strong dairy industry and large herd experience
- Proven track record of success within a target driven sales environment
- Enjoy working with members and customers to help them be profitable
- Be a team player and a problem solver
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment as well as possess effective communication and people skills
- Willingness to be challenged and develop both personally and professionally
