What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe Machinist (Set up and Operator) - 2nd Shift position at Genfor Precision Components?
Genfor is looking for a skilled professional CNC Lathe set up and operator for our second shift. Job would require tear down and set up, complete FAI's and operating 3-4 machines in a production facility. Must be able to read blue prints, tool changes, full inspections of product and machine adjustments.
Machine types: Doosan, Samsung, Hyundai WIA (Fanuc Controls)
Hours are 2:30pm - 1:00am
- 6 years minimum set-up experience with CNC Lathe Turning
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, optical comparator, etc
- An understanding of tool wear
- Previous experience with tight tolerances /-.0002
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines to insure consistent machine performance
- Able to follow work instructions
- Can complete documentation on time and as needed
