Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Generator Technician located in Houma, LA. The Generator Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing generators. Daily tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of power systems. The technician will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in generator installation, maintenance, and repair
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and circuitry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Experience with Kohler generators is a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is beneficial
