Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Transactions:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and update general ledger.
• Account Reconciliation:
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile discrepancies in accounts.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely transactions.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with tax filings and audits.
• Payroll Support:
• Assist in processing payroll and maintaining payroll records.
  

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
