About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Genie Healthcare. As an Interventional Radiology Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate fluoroscopy machines and angiographic systems to support interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare patients by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and administering medications as needed.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures by following established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. A degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field is required, along with current certification in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technology (CCLT) or equivalent. One year of experience in cath lab technology is preferred, especially in a hospital setting.
