Computed Tomography Technologist Role Overview
As a Computed Tomography Technologist at Genie Healthcare, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Main Duties:
- Ensure accurate and safe scanning procedures by positioning patients correctly on the scanner table.
- Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients during the scanning process.
- Perform quality control checks on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results.
Qualifications and Skills:
- AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
- CRT (Computed Tomography) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital or imaging center setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
