About the Role:
The Travel Radiation Therapist will be responsible for providing radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer. This will involve working closely with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer
- Conduct pre-treatment consultations with patients to assess their medical history and identify any potential risks or contraindications
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with radiologic technologists to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of treatments
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and outcomes
Requirements:
- Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist
- 2 years of experience in radiation therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
