About the Role:
As an Infection Preventionist RN, you will be integral to maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection control within our healthcare facility. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, your role will involve utilizing your core skills in data management, epidemiology, and patient observation to monitor infection trends and implement effective prevention strategies. Your certifications in Infection Prevention & Control, along with your experience in acute care and infectious disease management, will be essential in ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Requirements:
AHA BLS/CPR, and CIC certification. Valid CA, RN license. Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required. Pass a background check, medical test, skill test, or drug test. Expert-level knowledge of HAI detection via NHSN criteria. Must be familiar with Epic charting system.
