Responsibilities

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Assist with specimen collection processing and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report findings to the healthcare team.
- Implement infection control measures to ensure patient safety.
- Support patients with acute pain management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities to promote their well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills in travel nursing and specialized care areas.
Experience
- A valid LPN license is required.
- Previous experience in patient care settings is preferred, particularly in acute care or behavioral health environments.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing and infection control practices is advantageous.
- Experience in triage, acute pain management, and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential.
- Physical capability to lift patients or equipment as needed while maintaining safety standards.
