Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our dynamic healthcare team. - Must have AHA BLS certification
- Must have valid NY LPN License
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an LPN Med Surg
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care.
- Assist in various procedures, including catheterization and wound care management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in emergency response situations as needed, utilizing critical care skills when necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in administering dermal fillers (preferred).
- Experience in nursing home settings or urgent care environments is advantageous.
- Strong background in critical care and emergency medicine practices.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and sonography techniques is a plus.
- Solid understanding of physiology to effectively assess patient needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform catheterization procedures competently.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
