Med/Surg Telemetry RN

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients undergoing various medical and surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, including pain management and medication administration.
• Provide care for patients with diverse needs, including those requiring ostomy care and memory care.
• Operate medical imaging equipment as needed for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist in the management of patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Support outpatient procedures as required, ensuring a smooth transition for patients post-discharge.

Qualifications

• Current compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• 2 years current and strong MS Tele Float exp
• ACLS, BLS, MD/ compact license in hand.
• NIHSS preferred
• Ratios - 1:5-6
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Will be floating between 4-6 units MS Tele floating between them-they will initially put on one Home Unit and then floated from there
• Locals accepted at same rate
• Travel experience required!
