Genie Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Des Moines, IA.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced radiology professional to work with our clients in providing high-quality imaging services. As a radiology technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnosis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with various imaging modalities and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
- Produce high-quality images for diagnosis, ensuring optimal patient care and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography (R)
- At least 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
