Travel CT Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel CT Technologist to join our team at Genie Healthcare. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations, as well as maintain accurate records and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other staff members
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a travel or per diem role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
