Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Genie Healthcare. As a travel Special Procedures Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various medical procedures under the guidance of radiologists or other qualified physicians.
Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and positioning them correctly.
- Operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopes, MRI machines, and ultrasound devices to capture high-quality images.
- Assisting radiologists during procedures by holding retractors, injecting contrast media, and providing other support as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information, procedure details, and equipment usage.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) or equivalent.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
