Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Genie Healthcare.
About the Job:
This is a 13-week travel assignment located in Ogdensburg, NY, working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, including nights.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults.
- Assess patient's lung function, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
- Operate various types of ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and other respiratory devices.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Current licensure in New York State.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
