$50.58 per hour (blended)
$1,820 gross weekly
$1,170 stipend weekly
$650 taxable weekly
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and teaching hospitals. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing effective nursing interventions. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide acute pain management and airway management as necessary.
- Perform specimen collection processing and ensure proper handling of samples.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Participate in hospice palliative medicine as required, providing compassionate end-of-life care.
- Engage in occupational health initiatives to promote workplace wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed to support healthcare facilities.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; outpatient experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) processes is advantageous.
- Strong clinical skills in pain management, airway management, and specimen collection.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential travel nursing assignments.
