2 years RN experience - REQUIRED
Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN - Telemetry to fill an opening located in Aiken, South Carolina for $59/hr. (taxed non-taxed)
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry.
- Must have valid SC state License or Compact license.
- NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required
- CPI - Required (Must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
- BSN - Highly desired
- Inpatient Nursing experience required: 2 Years
- Telemetry experience required
- 6 months Travel Nurse experience required
- Cardiac Nursing experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must have 2-year experience as a RN - Telemetry

Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry:
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights
- Shift details: 7.00 PM to 7.00 AM
- 36 hours/week (3*12)
- 13-week assignment
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients in the Medical/Surgical unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and acute pain management interventions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Assist in emergency situations, including performing gastric lavage when necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
