Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Hospice
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Nurse RN Hospice to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, providing high-quality patient care and supporting patients and their families during difficult times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on pain and symptom management, and emotional support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct home visits, nursing home visits, and assisted living facility visits, as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding to emergency situations and providing 24/7 coverage.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as an RN in Massachusetts.
- At least 1 year of experience working in hospice care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Work Schedule:
The scheduled shifts will be Friday 8-4:30pm, Saturday/Sunday 12-hour days (7 or 8am start, 7 or 8pm end) for a total of 34 hours per week over 13 weeks.
