Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN - Telemetry to fill an opening located in Alexandria, LA for $61/hr. (taxed non-taxed)
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry.
- Must have valid FL state License or Compact license.
- Must Have AHA BLS and ACLS
- Must have 2-year experience as a RN - Telemetry

Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry:
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights
- Shift details: 7.00 PM to 7.00 AM
- 36 hours/week (3*12)
- 13-week assignment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, interpreting data accurately to identify any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including IV insertion and phlebotomy, while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with acute care needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, including health coaching strategies for chronic conditions.
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills.
