Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to operate computed tomography scanners for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients correctly on the scanner table to ensure accurate and safe scanning procedures.
- Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients during the scanning process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results.
Requirements:
- AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
- CRT (Computed Tomography) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- 1-2 years of experience working in a hospital or imaging center setting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
