Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel CT Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans on patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
- Position patients correctly for scanning, taking into account their size, shape, and medical history.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety during the scanning process.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
