About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Long Term Care travel nurse in Saint Francis, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
This is an 8-week assignment working 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, primarily in the evenings. As a Long Term Care travel nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to nursing staff
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements:
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the United States
- At least one year of experience in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS certification
