Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Histology Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, nights, on call Employment Type : Travel No local candidates within 50 miles. Schedule 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am, Varies 13 weeks Min of 2 years of experience within specialty. Required - ASCP Pathology, Cytology and IHC are all in Dept. 705- receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, collection of blocks from PA staff, processing tissue, embedding, cutting, staining of slides.
