Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
Location: Dublin, Georgia
The Genie Healthcare team is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our travel healthcare staff for a 13-week assignment. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and monitoring their comfort during the procedure.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of CT technology, including image acquisition techniques and radiation safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, including scan data and quality control metrics.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of Georgia.
- 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
