Weekly Gross Pay: $2253.96
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1007.96
Weekly Nontaxable: $1246
Minimum 2 Years' experience in RN ER/Med surg.
Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN Emergency Room or Med surg to fill an opening located in Sigourney, IA for $62.61/hr. (taxed non-taxed)
Requirements of the RN Emergency Room/Med surg:
● Must have valid IA state License or Compact.
● Must Have AHA BLS and ACLS and RN, PALS, TNCC
● Must have 2-year experience as a RN emergency Room/Med surg

Responsibilities of the Emergency Room/med surg:
● Shift: Nights
● 36 hours/week.
● 12-week assignment
● EOW
● Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage incoming patients based on urgency of care.
● Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
● Perform gastric lavage and manage specimen collection processing efficiently.
● Document all medical information accurately in the patient's medical records.
● Collaborate with case management to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
● Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
● Assist in the management of durable medical equipment (DME) as needed.
● Participate in hospital medicine protocols, including internal medicine practices when applicable.
● Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
