Seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee site services and equipment maintenance, ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities across three shifts, managing preventative maintenance, equipment installations, and repairs to minimize downtime. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will implement strategic maintenance practices to enhance equipment reliability and foster a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities :
Oversee maintenance schedules to support production goals and minimize downtime.
Work hands-on with the team as needed to support, train, and lead maintenance activities.
Ensure availability of necessary materials and spare parts for preventive maintenance and repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide regular reports to senior management.
Lead, train, and monitor the maintenance team to optimize performance and flexibility.
Develop and manage the maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
Address daily maintenance challenges and escalate major issues as needed.
Enforce company policies on attendance and performance, taking appropriate actions when necessary.
Continuously improve equipment uptime and processes by refining preventive maintenance plans.
Allocate maintenance tasks and monitor quality to ensure operational efficiency.
Assist in hiring, training new employees, and fostering a high-performance team culture.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years in a maintenance leadership role within a relevant industry.
Strong electro-mechanical skills with the ability to adapt experience to various challenges.
Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with compound plastics manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus.
Proven ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
