Chemical Manufacturing Manager opening with Chemical Leader; serves as the primary link between operations, maintenance/ contractors, and key stakeholders in the designated operating areas. Collaborating closely with the Manufacturing, Engineering and Maintenance Leadership Teams to ensure the safe and efficient execution of work objectives for this PSM regulated Chemical Plant. Responsibilities:
- Act as a troubleshooting expert, guiding team members in resolving technical issues.
- Lead Area Operations Turnaround Planning, Scheduling, and Coordination.
- Participate in Incident Command and provide support as needed.
- Serve as the central technical resource for the designated plant areas.
- Support roles to ensure operational continuity, safety, reliability, and environmental compliance.
- Provide technical guidance to Shift Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, Engineers, and Operators.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across functional areas to share critical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide technical support documentation.
- Identify training needs and align programs with plant and corporate objectives.
- Develop and manage training plans and materials for knowledge transfer.
- Create and maintain competency assessments for area personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10 years of chemical manufacturing/ production experience in PSM regulated plant.
- Track record in managing complex chemical processes and equipment.
- Aptitude to function as a subject matter expert in plant operations.
- Proficiency in technical, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective training programs and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
