Responsibilities:
--- Provide technical support and coordination of site-wide PSM programs for Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, other plant departments
--- Advise site management on all PSM issues and recommended solutions
--- Participate in strategies and goals for the continual improvement of the multi plant site PSM program
--- Support engineering department in the review of all plant process additions, modifications, construction, and operations for compliance with Company PSM policy and regulatory requirements
--- Responsible for Management of Change and incident reporting/corrective action tracking software program
--- Support site PHA Facilitators in adhering to regulatory and corporate requirements by managing / providing the required training in HazOps, SIL, SRS, and SIS
--- Ensure incident investigations are conducted per corporate and site requirements
--- Manage PSM corrective actions developed from Incident Investigations, PHAs, and audits
--- Provide correspondence, record keeping, and reporting documentation for all site PSM activities, policy changes and revisions
--- Identify, develop, and manage PSM program costs for the Health & Safety Department budget
--- Work directly with regulatory agencies on all PSM matters including agency inspections, regulation changes and methods of enforcement
--- Provide technical expertise to other plant sites with PSM policies and procedures and performing PSM focused audits
Qualifications:
--- B.S. Engineering required with 3 years experience as Process/ Safety Engineer in a Process Safety Management chemical plant
--- Knowledge of OSHA Standards for General Industry regulation 29 CFR 1910.119
--- Prior experience with PHAs, HazOps, SIL, SRS, and SIS in chemical manufacturing operations
--- Experience with incident investigations and audits
--- Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
