What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Rep/Onboarding Specialist position at Genisys Credit Union?

We are looking for a well organized personable applicant to fill an entry level onboarding position in our Human Resources department.
Position Purpose:
Responsible for performing Onboarding functions for new employees, including conducting new employee orientation, follow ups and providing suggestions for on-boarding enhancements. Assists in recruiting functions to ensure that well qualified candidates are available for position openings. Contributes to new and creative recruiting ideas to enhance the recruiting model. Assists in conducting phone screenings, evaluates applicant information, and sets up first interviews with qualified applicants. Updates information regarding applicants in the Applications database, sends and receives applicant packets, and tracks applicant files/logs to ensure accurate and complete information.
Job Duties (included but not limited to):
- Conducts New Employee Orientations and offers suggestions to continuously improve on-boarding process.
- Processes new employee paperwork in relation to the new employee orientation by end of second day of orientation.
- Submits E-Verify for new employees within 3 days of hire date.
- Sends out and reviews New Hire follow up Surveys. Follow up calls to all new hires after completion of survey. Seeks further information based upon answers and keeps management informed of results and areas of improvement uncovered.
- Ensures managers are completing New Hire checklists and sending employee Welcome emails
- Create position notices (requisitions) in applicant database and send out position notice emails internally.
- Supports Department personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate
- Continuing Education as it relates to HR Compliance
- Ability to become and remain 100% bonded

- Well organized.
- Strong ability to Multi-Task
- Accurate and attentive to detail.
- Excellent communication and public relations abilities.
- Ability to assist and support others.
- Self- Starter
