Processing Sales Assistant

We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Real Estate Lending Processing Sales Assistant at our Mortgage Office in Auburn Hills.

Position Purpose:

Assist with mortgage sales production and process application information for both first and second lien real estate loans. 

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Assist members and Mortgage Consultants (MCs) in-person, via phone and email to produce, collect, and process necessary mortgage and/or home equity application documents.
• Answer questions on mortgage and home equity products.
• Updates members, Realtors, and builders on the status of applications in process.
• Order services required in the mortgage lending process such as appraisal, homeowners insurance, verification of employment, and title insurance.
• Generate mortgage loan disclosures and/or follow up with members for signatures, ensuring disclosure compliance guidelines are met.
• Prepares files in the loan origination system (LOS) for submission to underwriting.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.  Ability to become and remain 100% bonded
• Ability to obtain an NMLS number 
• General knowledge of mortgage loan services and procedures a plus.
• Knowledge of related requirements, procedures, and underwriting criteria after training.

• Able to use computer related applications and basic business equipment.
• Good math skills
