What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Lending Closer - Full Time position at Genisys Credit Union?
At Genisys Credit Union, we value our employees who are essential to our ongoing growth and success as a financial institution of choice. We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Real Estate Lending Closer position at our Mortgage Center in Auburn Hills, MI.
Position Purpose:
Completes mortgage transactions between the Credit Union and borrowers after loans have been approved by performing the following duties.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Prepare closing packages and funding for first and second mortgage closings.
- Coordinates with Title companies and Notaries for closing documents
- Sends Closing Disclosures to borrower’s a minimum of 3 days before scheduled closing
- Promptly prepare & send out preliminary Closing Disclosures for first and second fixed mortgage loans.
- Verify all closing conditions are met.
- Schedule Closings
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of mortgage loan services and procedures
- Knowledge of related requirements, procedures and underwriting criteria
Skills/Abilities:
- Cooperative and works well with others
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Good basic math skills.
- Able to use related computer applications.
- Well organized and attentive to detail.
