To be a successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Design, configure, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for shipping, warehousing, and EDI operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize warehouse management processes, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Develop and maintain EDI integrations to facilitate real-time data exchange with vendors, carriers, and customers.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and provide ongoing support to resolve issues.
- Train end-users and document processes to ensure smooth system adoption.
- Stay up-to-date with Dynamics 365 updates and recommend enhancements to improve system performance.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Supply Chain, Finance, or Commerce modules).
- Deep understanding of shipping, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Hands-on experience with EDI systems and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
- Strong knowledge of system integration and data mapping techniques.
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
