To be a successful Performance Test Engineer you will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Additionally, you will exhibit strategic vision, thoughtful engagement, strong analytical / process skills, a bias for action, and the ability to partner with senior operational leaders.
Description :
- Proven experience as a Performance Test Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Neo Load or similar performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with other tools like JMeter and LoadRunner is a plus.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI / CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance testing concepts (including load testing, stress testing).
- Experience leading E2E performance testing for assigned projects.
- Experience with NFR management and extrapolation.
- Strong knowledge of performance engineering concepts.
- Experience in all aspects of performance testing including test planning, documentation, execution, defect management, and reporting Experience with Ready API to Create and Manage Virtual Services – preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
