Account Director – Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic marketing strategies aligned with client goals and Genius capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to assigned clients, ensuring marketing initiatives are tailored and effective.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client business models, objectives, and competitive landscape.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted partner.
- Proactively manage client satisfaction and retention through effective communication and results-driven work.
- Conduct regular check-ins, strategy reviews, and performance presentations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Creative, Strategy, and Media teams to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables.
- Oversee timelines, task assignments, and cross-team alignment to meet client deadlines and goals.
- Look for opportunities to improve existing processes and strategies to help internal and external teams succeed.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track campaign and account performance using KPIs and ROI metrics.
- Create and deliver strategic reports to clients, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure account documentation, timelines, and budgets are maintained accurately and proactively updated.
Operational & Strategic Alignment
- Participate in weekly internal meetings to align on client health, new initiatives, and internal resource planning.
- Help optimize internal processes by sharing insights and feedback for continuous improvement.

About Genius
We're a boutique digital agency located in Colleyville for the time being, but we're mostly remote. We're a tight-knit group that supports each other and works together well. Unfortunately, one of our beloved account managers is leaving for a really great opportunity, so we have big shoes to fill.
We don't do heart surgery, but we do have a lot of people's lives in our hands. They trust us to do excellent work to help their businesses grow and succeed and it's a job we don't take lightly. BUT, we still have fun doing it and we enjoy the time we spend working together as a team.
We mostly work in the real estate industry, think large-scale real estate developments. But we also have ecommerce, professional services, hospitality, and other types of clients because they're fun to work with.
We take work life balance seriously, we believe in ourselves and each other, and we don't stop innovating and learning. But we also understand that this is a job, not your identity. But I can also confidently say this might be the best job you'll ever have.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
