PeopleSoft Developer Contract Position 12 months
Location: Remote, but must be able to go on-site in Austin, TX with 72 hour notice at employee/contractors expense
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to contribute to key IT projects for FSCM v9.2 and HCM v9.2. This role involves modernizing and migrating a 20-year-old legacy system from a mainframe environment to a more advanced PeopleSoft-based solution.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience implementing, upgrading, and maintaining PeopleSoft ERP systems
- 5 years providing technical support for PeopleSoft Finance 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.57 , including Application Engine, PeopleCode, Data Mover, Component Interface, SQR, BI Publisher, and Unix
- 4 years of experience with State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance systems (e.g., WRAPS, CAPPS)
- 4 years of experience with Cloud-based technologies.
- Preferred: Experience creating and updating system documentation (e.g., environment diagrams, security, integration mappings)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop custom PeopleSoft solutions based on specific business requirements
- Develop and implement bolt-on solutions to improve system functionality
- Understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, and implementing new and custom modules
- Augment the technical and functional team to enhance overall performance and efficiency
