Vice President, Medical Malpractice Risk Management
Location : Remote, USA
Our client, a leading national risk management firm specializing in healthcare coverage, is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Risk to join their growing team. This senior leadership role will primarily oversee medical malpractice insurance for a wide range of healthcare clients, including those in medicine, nursing, optometry, dentistry, pharmacy, and other allied health professions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical malpractice brokerage and a passion for client relationship management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years in the P&C insurance industry, with a focus on medical malpractice.
- Proven success in managing complex accounts.
- At least 2 years of experience leading and mentoring a team, optimizing team performance.
- In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice insurance, risk transfer strategies, and state / federal laws governing medical malpractice.
- Broad network of medical malpractice carrier relationships and deep market knowledge.
- Active Residential Property & Casualty Insurance License (in state of residence), EPIC system experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mentality.
