The Senior Benefits Analyst will manage the administration of employee health, welfare, and retirement benefits across multiple states, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer health insurance, life insurance, COBRA, EAP, and voluntary benefits, including issue resolution, payroll deductions, and audits.
- Oversee retirement and pension plans, coordinating with vendors for accurate payments.
- Support annual processes like open enrollment, compensation statements, and compliance audits (ACA, 401k, nondiscrimination testing).
- Maintain benefits records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and IRS reporting (Forms 1094/1095).
- Assist with leave program management and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
- 5 years' experience of benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits, compliance laws (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, etc.), and HR systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office products.
