What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Manager position at Geniusmesh?
***This is a remote role and the desired candidate should be based in Austin, Charleston (SC) or Boston. This role will also require some travel***
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in HR due diligence, employee onboarding/offboarding, and integration of acquired teams. Ensure smooth cultural and operational transitions.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and onboard top talent. Assist in employer branding and recruitment strategies to support business growth.
- Support the integration of HR systems during M&A activities. Maintain accurate HR data and optimize system functionalities.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, and employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor laws. Address employee concerns proactively.
- Work with managers to drive performance management initiatives, employee engagement, and professional development programs.
- Assist in HR reporting, analytics, and workforce planning to support business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced, M&A-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar).
- Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment strategies, and onboarding best practices.
- Exposure to M&A activities, including HR due diligence and post-merger integration, is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a dynamic setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
