Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Assist with food preparation as needed in the kitchen area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality or food industry.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours such as nightclub hours.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems for order processing is preferred.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help both guests and team members.
- Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
